Key documents of the Wheat Initiative
The Wheat Initiative was established in 2011 to help coordinate and support wheat research globally.
This comprises a Science Board, Research Committee, Institutions Coordinating Committee (mainly public sector organizations and private sector).
Currently countries can become members of the Institutions Coordinating Committee and nominate two researchers for the Research Committee.
10 EWGs have been established to bring together members of the international research community to initiate focussed action and provide advice to funders, investors and policy makers on research priorities and projects at the international (multi-country) level.
